Event Description
The Back East Brewing Co. will formally celebrate their grand opening with a launch party on Saturday, Aug 11 , from 12 - 4 p.m. The event will feature tastings, tours and a chance to meet the Back East team. The brewery will also have a couple of special items and surprises at the event, including limited quantities of their inaugural batch of Imperial Stout in limited edition 750ml bottles.
Hope to see you all there, be sure to visit the CT Beer Trail table and say hi!

I attended the open house and was disappointed. I admit to getting there about an hour late but it was a zoo. Long lines and politicians make speeches. Yes, it was free but we left shortly thereafter and went over to Hooker where we could get a beer taste. I thought it was an exclysively beernet.com event. I was told event promoted on TV, so of course large crowds would follow free beer. Next time have Beernet event for serious fans and then hold circus event for public

Great event today! If you missed it, no worries... Head out to Back East 4 - 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday for growler fills and merchandise, and Saturdays from 12 - 4 p.m., tours every hour with the last tour being at 3 p.m. TELL THEM THE CT BEER TRAIL SENT YOU!
