Another new venue! Still have some details to work out but this will be much like our ride from the Cambridge Brewhouse up in Granby in that Plan B will be the beginning and end point. This time it will be a 13.4mile out and back all on the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail. We will also be offering a bonus alternate route for those who want to get a little more riding in before they imbibe.
Here is the "easy" route we have planned - avg.speed 10mph

Here is the longer 20.8 mile loop - avg. speed 15mph
http://ridewithgps.com/routes/730007
As with all of our rides HELMETS ARE REQUIRED!!! We do our best to run these rides in such a fashion that nobody gets left behind and lost. That being said, we will keep the pace on the slower side and try to keep the group together while we're out there. Looking to keep the pace around 10mph for the easy ride and 15mph for the longer loop. Feel free to print a cue sheet using the link above if you want to hammer it out and get back to the beer faster.
UPDATED Oct 5th: Plan B of Simsbury will graciously offer all riders $4 drafts and live acoustic music! And for $15 they'll provide you with all you can eat from a wide array of great food and they'll throw in two free beers. New England Brewing will also provide some cask beer!
There is ample parking at Plan B and you should take steps to secure your bike in your car or with a lock while enjoying your food and drink.
If you have questions specific to the bike routes please feel free to contact Matt V at the Vernon Pedal Power store
