Event Description

Introducing Brewery Bus Tours Along the CT Beer Trail!

The CT Beer Trail has partnered up with Gateway Limousine to develop our first official bus tour! This adventure is packed with five tours and tastings, and includes appetizers at one stop and a full lunch at another! Those opting to stay at the final destination after the tour ends will be offered a discount on a Brewmaster/Chef special dinner!

Here's our itinerary:

Tullycross Tavern & Microbrewery - Manchester
- Arrive at 10:30 AM – Meet the Brewmaster, tour the brewery, enjoy some outstanding finger foods and sample some of Brian Flach's hand crafted beers!
Olde Burnside Brewery - East Hartford
- Meet brewery staff, tour the brewery and enjoy a tasting.
City Steam Brewery Cafe - Hartford
- Take a tour with the Brewmaster, Ron Page, while sampling some of his handy work.
- A full lunch will be available at the brewpub, so come hungry!
Back East Brewing - Bloomfield
- Meet the brewery staff for a tour and tasting.
Thomas Hooker Brewery - Bloomfield
- Meet the brewery staff for a tour and tasting.
Return to Tullycross Tavern & Microbrewery
- Bus arrives at approximately 4:30 PM
- Step inside the brewpub and get 10% off the Brewmaster/Chef Special!

Tickets cost $80 and must be purchased beforehand online here. Growlers and merchandise available for purchase at all locations while supplies last. Consider bringing cash for merchandise purchases.

Guidelines: You must be at least 21 years old and present a valid government issued ID to participate in this tour. All participants must sign a waiver and agreement form before boarding the bus. Failure to sign the form and/or present a valid ID proving you meet the minimum age will exclude you from participating in this tour without a refund.

The CT Beer Trail reserves the right to cancel the trip in the event less than 15 tickets are sold by January 24th. If this happens refunds will be issued. The tour will stick to a strict timeline, don't miss the bus! Failure to adhere to the established schedule or safety guidelines may get you removed from the tour.

Comment by Bryon Turner on January 20, 2013 at 7:39pm: Starts in Manchester and moves on down the itinerary... One pick up/drop off makes it possible for all participants to start and finish the trip together and cuts down on the cost of the bus.

I have been thinking of how to do something like this for a while. Not sure if I can make the 23rd or not. Now it starts in Manchester? Then we move on to the others? I would like to see something with a couple more pickups and dropoffs , but this is a great start.
