Fall Beer Tasting at the Mystic Seaport

Good times are brewing this fall -- at the Mystic Seaport Boat Shed down by the river! Taste a variety of beers contributed by Shipyard Brewing Company and hear Aaren Simoncini, owner and founder of the new Beer'd Brewing Companyin Stonington, Connecticut, discuss "America's Noble Experiment," a presentation that explores Prohibition in America and focuses on the alcohol manufacturing industry. Simoncini will compare and contrast drinking cultures in the United States and Europe and discuss where the industry is headed in America, as the number of our nation's beer manufacturers has just exceeded that of pre-Prohibition America.

Tickets include the talk, tasting and a surprise take-home gift. A la carte light fare will also be available for a nominal cost.
