I love the idea of locally grown hops in locally crafted beer.

Right now we have a customer who has planted more than 150 hop plants on his farm.  We are looking to add some of these fresh hops to our line up this fall!

Where is the farm?  Do you think they would mind if I contacted them to come check out the farm?

This is great, Would love to see a bunch of hop farms pop up in CT. Is this what hopmeadow rd in simsbury got its namesake from? ;)

 

There is also a husband and wife malter business that opened in Mass...things are looking good for my plan of an all local ingredient brew
