Rich has an oatmeal chocolate stout and a brown ale both "real ale" style on our beer engine. Dana's got something cooking up- he just raided our whole leaf centennial hops!

Wil Santiago, the assistant brewer at Cottrell, formed a home brew club a few months back. Meetings are once a month, generally at the brewery, and this would be the perfect venue for your friends. This month's meeting is Sunday, March 27th starting at 2pm. Also if they are interested there is a MoreBeer Group called the Whaling City Alers that generally distributes meeting dates.

Comment by Brew and Wine Hobby on April 22, 2011 at 8:25am: Beer bread is great. Someone took the concept to a new level though. Rich discussed a "brew bar", where they used the spent grains in an energy bar which is actually pretty darn tasty.
