Comment by Paul Peloquin on March 16, 2011 at 9:37pm I just opened a friend's latest release. He has been home brewing for a couple of years. His first attempt at a "schwarzbier" otherwise known as a "black lager".

Are there any home brewers in SE CT who get together to taste beers? I know a few home brewers who might be interested in sharing some of their beers.
Comment by Aaren Simoncini on March 18, 2011 at 4:05pm Paul,
Wil Santiago, the assistant brewer at Cottrell, formed a home brew club a few months back. Meetings are once a month, generally at the brewery, and this would be the perfect venue for your friends. This month's meeting is Sunday, March 27th starting at 2pm. Also if they are interested there is a MoreBeer Group called the Whaling City Alers that generally distributes meeting dates.
