Comment by Mike Patient on April 13, 2012 at 11:58am will you be moving the keg around? if not it shouldn't matter, an initial pint will be yeasty but just dump it and they should start running clear. If you'll be taking it from place to place you can rack off it. You'll lose about the same amount from racking, and that could introduce O2
Comment by Christopher Sheehan on April 13, 2012 at 12:03pm Thanks Mike, that was my first instinct just wanted to get a second opinion.
Comment by Chris Eisbach on April 15, 2012 at 10:36pm I agree. I have often had very clear beer after the cold break and the first draft. Just don;t jostle it around a lot. You should be fine.
Comment by Chris Eisbach on April 15, 2012 at 10:53pm If you are not on the Malters mailing list and are interested in the club brew off of either a witbier or ESB, please let me know which kit your like to purchase at the next meeting, April 26. I hope to let JD know whats we would like Monday night if possible (assuming that is not too late JD [fingers crossed])
