If it’s working for local wine, why not for local beer?

If you’ve lived in Connecticut long, you’ve probably seen the signs for the Connecticut Wine trail; you may have even seen their web site. Various local wineries joining together under a shared branded marketing plan to drive business and share like minded consumers, a great idea!

If it’s working for local wine, why not for local beer? That's the question I asked myself when I came up with the idea behind CT Beer Trail. Taking a great idea, and adding the elements of social media and collaborative marketing, we're creating synergy.

CT Beer Trail offers local CT breweries, brew pubs, beer bars and home brew shops access to an online community that leverages existing marketing efforts under one umbrella to foster and strengthen their shared consumer base and the state's under rated beer culture.

There are so many great craft beers to choose from, I'm still trying to determine my favorites. How about you?

I saw the event, and thought it sounded like a lot of fun! But- I'm in Lake George for the whole weekend, so I'm just going to have to wait for the next opportunity. Have a great time!
