"For a friends 40th birthday coming up, Bill, one of the owners is taping a Red Sour Ale, a Ahtanum IPA,  a Cervesa, and a oaked chocolate stout.  ( 1 more week until that party)."

"Bryon, just saw the comment. I brewed this but it was not my recipe. It was Dirty Dick's Ale from Youngs Brewery. I purchased the kit from Maltose Express. It was very good!"

"No summer is complete without a Patersbier, I usually have two batches spread out to last all summer, other than that..Pales, IPA's and Belgians  becuase fermenting them during the summer is easy."

"Byron, We don’t have as many tap rooms down in the south west corner of the state but there is at least one good one that I know of. I am a member of their Hall of Foam and it is for good reason... they sport 30 taps of fresh brew and about 64…"

I just wanted to put in a quick update... In the last 6 months I have brewed an additional 50Gal of beer! 30 of those gallons were for my wedding. When I have a few more minutes I will put up a list of the biggest winners from the wedding. I also introduced my first recipe which was for my wife (and asst brewer) which was aptly named "the wedding beer". I was pleased to see that it was the first beer to go! :-) She had no idea I had been working on it or that I brewed it for us and was very surprised I got it done without her knowing. She loved it!!!

I racked the Lagunitas to the secondary on Monday and brewed the Long peaks Raspberry Wheat to take its place yesterday. Today I rack the SW1 to the secondary and will be brewing the Piraat Ale to replace.  My first Keg of beer might be done before I am ready to replace it... Yikes! I had better step up my brewing schedule!

I kegged my first batch of beer on sat and last night(sun 27th) I came home after an awesome day of spring snowboarding with my fiance and we were both looking forward to the first pull of the tap. Fist taste of my keg beer was not a disappointment!!!

On Monday I brewed my clone of Lagunitas IPA and Tuesday I brewed up my SW1. Today my Kegerator gets a new paintjob and next week it gets put into use!

I picked up the plumbing from Maltose Express yesterday and put my kegarator together.  It is coming along nicely but I still have to customize it a little.  A quick paint job and it will be ready to serve..  I also picked up another primary and some other odds and ends.  Looks like it is going to be a good year for brewing!

3.10.11
Just picked up a Beverage-Air kegarator (used) without plumbing but I can get that at Maltose Express in the next day ot two.  Also picked up another Carboy and three more kits last night...
Long Peaks Raspberry Wheat
Lagunitas IPA
Orange Brewery's SW1 Pale Ale
in addition too my kits that are waiting to be brewed... Rochefort8 and a Piraat Ale.

I also brewed this weekend and used a cup of the spent grains to make a loaf of bread.  Let me tell you how good it was.  My fiance and friends loved it and insist I make some more.  I told them they will have to help me increase my brewing cycle.
