"The Duvel tulip glass is the best universal glass to own, with a collection of 50+ plus pint glasses and 25+ specialty glasses I tend to go for my Chimay glass for most of my beers. Cheers and thanks for the read!"

Thanks for reaching out last year Kevin!  Sorry it took me soo long to get back to you.

We work really hard to put great beers on tap, keep good food coming out of the kitchen and make real people happy in our pub, sometimes all the e-mails, reviews, texts and phone calls wind up getting lost or missed.

Kevin,

Yes we will.  We are big fans of Imperial style beers and have been experimenting with some of those.  Anything in particular you'd like to see?

Thanks Kevin! We're still experimenting with the IPA....so all I can say right now is that it will be a blend of British and American hops.

Thanks!  It really depends on my mood and the season, I'm kind of all over the board.  Right now I've got bottled an irish stout, a choclolate dopplebock and dark-ish ESB.  I've got a whiskey barrel smoked porter in secondary right now that is seasoned with clove, which I'm thinking is going to have to age for a while to mellow a bit, and I've got a belgian wit in the primary in preparation for springtime.

With new members joining the CT Beer Trail daily, I thought it would be nice to share information about the Connecticut breweries of the past and therefore I am planning on posting a series of articles looking back at our state’s brewing history. While researching information for this article series, I was amazed to find out how many breweries our state actually had up and running. I decided to write my first article about a brewery that was once located in my hometown, the Meriden Brewing…
