Beer Pairing: Catahoula Crab Gumbo

I’ve always been a fan of Cajun cuisine and a good stew, like gumbo or jambalaya, is what really hits the spot. I’ve experimented with different recipes for a homemade gumbo with a New England twist, but I couldn’t find the right on. So, I just decided to make my own...…

The new Hanafin's Irish Pub

I stopped into the new Hanafin's Irish Pub in Glastonbury Saturday evening. It was my first time there. The pub has nice atmosphere and  decent beer selection. The food was good too (I had the corned beef reuben).

Beer Pairing: The Still-Drunken Omelet with Fancy Tomato-Vinegar Sauce

Okay, let’s face it. We’ve all had those mornings when we wake up, take two steps towards the bathroom and realize we’re still slightly in the condition we were the night before. As the great Jimmy Buffett said, “there’s a thin line between Saturday nights and Sunday mornings.”
