Two Roads - Little Heaven
Two Roads Brewery releases a new brew!! As the name would seem to suggest, the beer is a little slice of heaven. Little Heaven is a bright, crisp pale ale that goes down oh-so easy; it is an excellent example of the style.

Spring Beer From BBC and Sixpoint
Re-posted from my blog: Malted Musings.
Stopping in at Eli Cannon's Taproom the other night, I figured it was high time I hunted down some of the spring offerings from the craft beer community. As expected with this bizarre weather we've been having, though, as I was searching…

Barley Vine Bristol
Not sure if I'm late to the party, but this place is great. I can't believe I haven't heard more about this place, in fact. Becca and I went there this weekend - not just once, but twice. Once for dinner on Friday, and again for breakfast/brunch on Sunday. This place is what the CT Beer Trail is all about - great food, great atmosphere, and great BEER!! They have a great tap list. Outstanding. They had all of the big-hitters on tap local and otherwise -- Ommegang (Hennepin!) , Two…

Spring Beer Speculation and Blog Status Update
Re-posted from my blog: Malted Musings.
First off, rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated! I haven't fallen into a deep beer-induced depression based on this ridiculous freezing weather we've been having: I've just been moving. As it turns out: moving is kinda tough sometimes. But the gears were greased with plenty of pizza, beer, and spirits, so at…

Re-posted from my blog: Malted Musings.
It all came upon me suddenly, but I guess in hindsight it's been the culmination of experience that really planted the realization in my head. The time was last week, around dinner time. It was late (for me), and my wife and I were enjoying some decidedly "ok" Chinese takeout for…
