Proposed Bill 464 voted on by the General Law Commitee

Proposed Bill 464 has now moved from the General Law Committee to Office of Legislative Research and to the Office of Fiscal Analysis.  All of those who were present for the vote in the General Law Committee voted 'yeah' as you can see here: http://www.cga.ct.gov/2011/TS/S/2011SB-00464-R00GL-CV34-TS.htm 

Those interested in supporting this effort cam reach out to local local newspapers via letters to the editor and their legislators in the House of  Representatives and the Senate.

According to their web page they are, "The Office of Fiscal Analysis (OFA) provides the General Assembly with independent, accurate, and timely fiscal information to assist members in making budgetary decisions and to inform members of the fiscal impact of legislation under consideration."

We just need to keep our eyes on this bill...  If it goes to another committee, it would be good for folks to reach out to the committee members and show support.

Yes! That's great. It's about time too, most New England states already have a trail. To be honest though, they don't have the great beer that Connecticut does, for reals!

This is great news!  I am glad to see the bill passes 15-0 from the General Law Committee.
